I'm Evan Herman-Chin (he/him), a New York based entertainment lighting programmer and electrician for theatre, events, TV, and other media.

Programming sits at the nexus of design and technology, and from that vantage I get to enjoy a unique perspective. I enjoy collaborating with creatives and technicians to produce stunning and interesting visuals that support the goals of the creative team.

In my free time, I might be cooking, taking photos, playing video/board games, watching hockey, or spending time with my cats. I'm a proud Brooklyn native and love my city.

I am an alumnus of Ithaca College, and also a member of IATSE Local #4.
